Explore the picturesque medieval villages Savoca and Forza D’Agrò, made famous by the well-known film “The Godfather” by Francis Ford Coppola.
We will leave Catania and will head towards Savoca, where you can spend three hours immersed in the atmosphere of the village, walking through its narrow streets and retracing the deeds of Michael Corleone in the famous film.
We suggest you to visit the Church of San Nicolò, where Michael married Apollonia, and to taste a granita at the Bar Vitelli, which has become iconic thanks to the film.
Next, we will move to Forza D’Agrò, where you will spend an hour to explore the streets of the village and visit the charming Cathedral of Santa Maria Annunziata and Assunta, dating back to the fifteenth century. Finally, we will return to Catania
