Small group excursion to Syracuse, one of the most ancient Greek colonies in Sicily and recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage site.
Departure for Syracuse in a chauffeur-driven car at 10:00 a.m. and arrival at about 11:00 a.m.
The following four hours can then be spent visiting the 5th century treasures in the Archaeological Area: the Greek Theatre of Syracuse, the Roman Amphitheatre, the Altar of Hiero II, and the Paradise Latomia with its renowned Ear of Dionisius, followed by a visit to the Island of Ortigia with its historical centre, the Temple of Apollo, the Cathedral and the Aretusa Fountain.
